Covenant Reformed Church is a mission church in the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC). Located in Dothan, Alabama, we are under the oversight of our planting church, Providence Church (CREC) in Pensacola, Florida. https://crechurches.org
We are a Reformed and covenantal congregation that joyfully recognizes the Body of Christ extends far beyond our local fellowship. We exist so that our corner of Alabama might know the love of the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our calling is to make that love visible as we live, work, and worship together in Dothan.
WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that salvation is by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential.

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, enabling them to live godly lives.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We are a Reformed and covenantal church that seeks to apply “All of Christ for all of life.”
OUR MISSION
At Covenant Reformed Church, our mission is summed up by the phrase “All of Christ for all of life.”
As a small mission church plant, we are seeking God’s grace to grow in obedience, fellowship, and faithfulness. We desire to see Dothan transformed by the gospel as we proclaim Christ to unbelievers, train believers to live gospel-centered lives, and establish biblical faith across the Wiregrass—through joyful covenant worship, strong Christian families, faithful education of our children, and humble engagement in our community—all done with gladness, simplicity of heart, and love for God and neighbor.
REFORMED
Covenant Reformed Church stands in the historical stream of the Protestant Reformation, committed to always be reforming according to the Word of God. The word “Reformed” is a shorthand way of affirming the sovereignty of God in all things, and that we rely on Scripture to be the only sufficient guide in matters of faith and life.
EVANGELICAL
By “evangelical” we mean that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only message of hope for a fallen world, and that there is no other name by which people can be rescued from the ruin and despair brought about by sin. It is the work of the church to proclaim the gospel to those inside and outside of the church, calling all people everywhere to trust in Christ alone for salvation, and to obey all that he has commanded.
CONFESSIONAL
Covenant Reformed Church is a confessional church, meaning that we subscribe to a historic, Reformed confession of faith that serves as a summary statement of our beliefs. CRC subscribes to the Westminster Confession of Faith 1646 and the Heidelberg Catechism.
